Spaghetti and Meatballs
Spice a classic dish with healthy alternatives, like brown rice pasta, veggie noodles and dairy alternatives.

Meatball ingredients
- 1lb 96% ground beef
- 1lb 99% turkey
- 1 chopped onion
- 1 whole egg
- 2 egg whites
- Seasoning – I used salt, pepper, and Trader Joe’s Soffritto seasoning
Directions
- Combine all ingredients, form into meatballs and bake at 350 degrees for 25-30 minutes
Make it a meal
Combine meatballs with:
- Lentil brown rice pasta
- Hearts of palm pasta
- Trader joes Arribata sauce
- Sliced polenta, air fry for 8-10 mins
- Top with parmesan
Alternatives
- Use dairy free cheese – I like Trader Joe’s almond mozzarella shreds
- Less carbs – use more hearts of palm pasta, add zucchini noodles or spaghetti squash
- More volume – add shredded zucchini or cauliflower rice to meatball recipe for volume and moisture
