I had struggled with my weight, binge eating and body image for as long as I can remember. I have been through the yo-yo dieting wringer, with numerous failed attempts.  Eventually, I decided to just give up and settled with being the fat girl.

In 2016, my life changed forever when I decided to have weight loss surgery.  I thought my prayers were answered and this was my “cure.”

After the initial weight loss I soon realized that wasn’t the case; I didn’t have the proper tools for sustained success and started packing on pounds again.

I thought “why me?” Maybe being thin just wasn’t something I deserved.

 I was desperate and sought help through a nutrition coach who taught me that starving and hours at the gym is, in fact, not the secret.  With his help and my own countless hours of research I learned how to properly fuel my body, not feel deprived, and finally hit my physique goals.

Learning how to lead a healthy lifestyle in a sustainable way inspired me to get certified as a Certified Personal Trainer and Nutrition Coach so I could help others find their path.

My lifestyle coaching program teaches you how to achieve your aesthetic goals without being held prisoner by your diet or your exercise regime.

Hey there! I’m Jess, a mom, wife, main breadwinner and Team Fit With Me coach.

I had vertical sleeve gastrectomy in 2014, but due to complications with acid reflux was revised to gastric bypass in 2014. I lost 120 lbs with weight loss surgery, was successful for some time, but struggled with postpartum/post breastfeeding regain. I thought if I went back to my WLS basics the weight would come off like the first time. Unfortunately, that was not the case and I had much more to learn on how to work smarter, not harder!

I know what it’s like to juggle being a wife, a mom and to work full time while still making health a priority. 

I’ve spent years dieting, restricting, losing, regaining and losing again.

I’ve been working with Sarah for the past six months and have finally found a lifestyle that “clicks” with me. The immense value I found In hiring a nutrition coach inspired me to further my education and become a coach myself; I want to help other people find their balance incorporate healthy living without unnecessary sacrifices.

Getting healthy and losing weight isn’t just about the numbers, it’s about finding balance in a busy life. I want to show you how to enjoy it while working towards your goals.

I am a certified PN1 Nutritionist, continue mentoring with Sarah and am ready to share my knowledge with you!

I have been very active most of my life as a former cross-fitter and
half marathon runner; I’ve tried just about everything and love most
ways of moving my body. My problem has always been consistency and I
have found that I am very good at pushing to the extreme with exercise
and diet. Of course, with that I saw great results, but they weren’t
sustainable, especially with age. Hence why I could never be
consistent.

When I started working with Sarah, everything changed. There were
pieces of the puzzle with my own health I was missing for years that
Sarah helped me to find.  Working out smarter, not harder and making
this a lifestyle that was sustainable was another piece. I know I am
still a work-in-progress, but I know what to do and I am finally on my
way. The cherry on top? I finally feel ready to help others find their
way.

I have been passionate about functional nutrition and physical fitness
for many years. I received my Precision Nutrition certification in
2019 knowing that someday I wanted to help others understand how the
food they eat is so directly related to how their bodies function and
thrive. I am continuing to work on my education mentoring with Sarah,
taking various certification courses, learning to read lab work,
reading and researching in my spare time which involves frequently
falling asleep with a book in bed.

I am so excited to be a coach on Team Fit With Me and
thrilled to work with women that I know will inspire me as I walk
alongside them in their journey for lifelong health and wellness.
